After decades of working hands-on with thousands of faces, Gabriel recognized a need for products that matched the level of care he provided in treatment. Custom Sciences was born — an intimate line of elevated skincare built on experience, integrity, and results.
From spa rooms to skin labs, Gabriel’s career has been devoted to understanding how skin works — and how to help it thrive. With a focus on long-term skin health over short-term trends, he’s earned the trust of clients who return year after year.

Founder
Gabriel Williams, a proud Omaha native, discovered his passion for skincare and esthetics at just 18 years old during an inspiring journey to Aix en Provence, France. There, an encounter with two accomplished French estheticians ignited his lifelong dedication to skincare excellence.
In 1998, Gabriel graduated from the esteemed Capitol School of Esthetics, where he was personally mentored by industry leaders Judy McCaig and Tonya Serefco, both trained by the internationally acclaimed CIDESCO organization. Shortly thereafter, Gabriel joined FACES Spa, one of the Midwest’s pioneering skincare centers, further developing his expertise under the guidance of respected spa innovator Darlene Rohrig.
Throughout his impressive career spanning over two decades, Gabriel has remained committed to ongoing education and innovation. A notable highlight was his training and collaboration with Erica Miller, a renowned skincare authority and celebrated author in the esthetics field. Gabriel has also built an extensive, trusted professional network that includes leading plastic surgeons, dermatologists, med spa practitioners, physician assistants, and fellow facialists.
Gabriel takes great pride in being part of the vibrant skincare industry, driven by a genuine passion for helping each client look and feel their absolute best.

Business Manager
Matthew Lovegood has been with Custom Sciences since 2017. He is a certified bookkeeper with the International Association of Professions. Matthew comes to the table with decades of experience in small business administration, accounting, and project management.
Matthew has facilitated Custom Sciences' growth over the years through the implementation of business best practices, attention to detail, and accurate planning. Matthew also works for the Accounting Department of the Cedar Rapids Community School District and is the Treasurer for CR Pride, a nonprofit organization based in Eastern Iowa.
